HEMELHUJIS
Hemelhuijs is a small oasis in the heart of Cape Town, South Africa and offers an ideal escape from hustle and bustle. Sit and watch the city go by while indulging in freshly made jewel-coloured juices, paradisal cocktails or custom blended coffee and order from the all-day menu. ROSETTA ROASTERY CAFE
Cape Town's first exclusive-single-origin specialty coffee roastery. At Rosetta Roastery we source single-origin and estate coffees, micro-roasting each one to best present its unique personality. A wonderful place to grab a morning coffee and a pastry. The Bree Street location is more of a grab-and-go location while the Silo District location has a large cafe and is great for taking a load off. Rosetta makes exquisite coffee - their Ethiopian and Colombian are among our favorites and also make great gifts.

KLEINSKY'S DELACATESSEN
Kleinsky's blends traditional Jewish recipes with the best local ingredients to bring a slice of New York to Cape Town. All of their breads & pastries are baked in store using traditional recipes & methods. Kleinsky's bagels are hand-rolled, slow fermented overnight & boiled in malted water before baking. The pastrami is made with beef brisket, brined then coated in a house blend spice rub & smoked for several hours before serving. Kleinsky's serves breakfast & lunch and their Sea Point store also serves as a gallery space for local artists.
CHARDONNAY DELI
Situated in the beautiful leafy town of Constantia Valley. Chardonnay Deli and Farmstall is a restaurant and artisanal bakery with a homely feel. Chardonnay Deli offers a rustic but refined experience focusing on attention to detail, quality, service and value.In the Spring and Summer dining is available in a beautiful courtyard under an oak tree. Chardonnay Deli has a beautiful farmstall where you can buy everything from bread, milk, cheese, yoghurt granolas, preserves, coffee, gifts, olive oils and prepared meals. Perfect shopping experience if you love local and homemade. Chardonnay is open for breakfast & lunch.
MULBERRY & PRINCE
Named after two New York City streets, Mulberry & Prince is a collaboration between a Capetonian and a New Yorker who met while studying at the Culinary Institute of America. The menu is influenced by what’s seasonal and fresh. Mulberry & Prince dishes up healthy breakfast and brunch in a trendy atmosphere and serves food until 2PM - we suggest trying their sandwiches. They are closed Monday and Tuesday.

FOXCROFT
Utter sophistication in its most glamorously simple form is what Foxcroft Restaurant is all about. The lunch menu is a wonderful assortment of delicious dishes that are nothing short of inspired. The menu includes tuna tartare with tempura avocado, tapas, fresh breads with cold meats and preserves, squid with chorizo and wild garlic, champagne-poached oysters, tempura prawns, and a delectable yellowtail ceviche. The main courses are made up of beef ribeye with duckfat, slow-cooked leg of lamb with white bean hummus and smoked garlic, confit pork belly, pan-seared line fish and more. Recommended for lunch or dinner. Reservations are required.

An intimate 24-seater restaurant that serves a tasting menu of creative and delicious meat. Belly of the Beast sources from local sustainable producers and uses every part of the animal. Keep in mind that this is a meat-only restaurant experience. They do lunch and dinner tasting menus and we recommend enjoying their dinner experience. Reservations are required.

LA COLOMBE
Appearing on the World's 50 Best Restaurant's List, La Colombe takes guests on a gastronomic voyage in a treehouse-like setting atop the Silvermist Wine Estate in Constantia. In a minimalist space decorated in a muted color palette, chef James Gaag’s swoon-inducing dishes feature all manner of culinary theatre. Think smoking Cape Malay snacks, tuna ‘La Colombe’ – a tinned miniature yellowfin tuna creation featuring micro herbs, avocado puree and an umami-rich broth – and the complex, perfectly balanced masterpiece of Karoo lamb. Reservations are required.
THALI
Modern Indian tapas by a Cape Town star chef. Thali is Indian cuisine inspired the regions and flavors of India. They serve a set menu for two of eight small sharing plates or bowls, progressing from mild to very spicy. Perfectly crisp and slightly charred poppadoms and potato and sweetcorn chaat with a curry leaf aioli kick off the feast, followed by a selection of vegetables and meats. The curries are the grand finale: smoky fragrant lamb curry, a mint and coriander butter chicken curry. Pescatarian, vegetarian and vegan menus are all excellent, too.
KLOOF STREET HOUSE
Kloof Street House is an eclectic inspired restaurant and bar set in a magnificent Victorian house on the famous Kloof Street, nestled in the Table mountain valley, Cape Town. The restaurant boasts an intimate garden for Saturday and Sunday Brunches, daily lunches and Sunday lunch Jazz. Enjoy candle lit dinners in the dining rooms, drinks in the beautiful garden under the palm trees or just relax on our chesterfield couches in their cozy lounge. CHEF'S WAREHOUSE AT BEAU CONSTANTIA
Appearing on the World's 50 Best Restaurants list, Chef's Warehouse at Beau Constantia boasts jaw-dropping views over the Beau Constantia boutique wine farm. The restaurant takes the refined tapas-style menu that made its name in the original central Cape Town venue and, literally and figuratively, elevates it. Housed in a modern glass cube with an alfresco terrace, the dining room is the scene for a set menu of nine tapas plates for two. From Saldanha Bay oysters laced with chilli threads to springbok with blood orange, the dishes are all excellent. Reservations are required.
FYN
Making the World's 50 Best Restaurant's List, Fyn is a cavernous industrial space with a cloud of wooden discs hanging from the ceiling is the setting for one of Cape Town’s most adventurous addresses. Peter Tempelhoff’s mission is to blur boundaries by interpreting South Africa through techniques largely rooted in Japan. Canapes served in petite bento boxes include the likes of prawn crudo with dashi mayo and grilled shishito peppers, while the rest of the kaiseki-style multi-course menus are drenched in ingredients such as candied ginger, tempura nori and salted Japanese plum. Reservations are required.

JERRY'S BURGER BAR AT HERITAGE SQUARE
Cocktails and snacks in the roof of a 200-year-old house, with leather seats and Chinese lanterns. There is a sensational menu with everything from mushroom tempura and tuna tataki to sticky grilled meat skewers and a wide assortment of hirata buns. The rooftop bar is a cocktail den that excels at the classics like an Old Fashioned and Negroni. Reservations are not required.

Appearing on the World's 50 Best Restaurants's List, The Pot Luck Club serves sophisticated tapas served in a chic, buzzy locale with glass walls & views of Table Mountain. British-born chef Luke Dale-Roberts favors sharing plates that evoke an American-style pot luck dinner from the 1950s. Umami-rich meat with pecan butter and parmesan sits alongside rabbit terrine with crispy pancetta and deconstructed ‘fish tacos’, in the form of a ceviche with black bean puree are a few of their popular dishes.
